Custom Rocker Switches
Dazzle Ride’s very own Carling Custom Rocker Switches with laser-etched actuator covers.
Features:
- Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) Custom Rocker Switches that function ON-OFF.
- One incandescent independent lamp at the top, and one incandescent dependent lamp at the bottom.
- Can be used with many different loads, when you want switch backlighting.
- Top lamp acts as a backlight (triggered by another source), and bottom lamp acts as an indicator when the switch is ON.

The Need:
Now there are blank switch covers. And there are some function specific Custom Rocker Switches. But they tend to be low quality switches that don’t really have good options for the light kits we specialize in. Sometimes they are etched (so the light shines through like ours). But often they are just cheaply painted or even labeled with stickers that wear off. And some are not very durable and sometimes not even water-proof.
The Fix:
Simply stated, e wanted a switch for wheel light and couldn’t find one, so we designed one. We wanted one for roof lights and couldn’t find one, so we designed one. And so on.
Our markings are not painted. The graphics are finely laser-etched to allow the lights below to illuminate through when engaged. The switches we supply with them have top and bottom lights and dependent/independent switches. This means one light can be wired to be “dependent” on something else while the other will illuminate only when the switch circuit is completed / switched “on”. We like switches that can be wired so when you turn your headlights on the function picture/words illuminate, and when you turn the switch itself on, both the words and the little “active” oval illuminates denoting which are on and which are not. They can also we wired other ways depending if you have headlights / running lights or not and like that function. Function picture and words illuminated whenever the ignition on is another popular option. And there are other possibilities as well depending on your preference. They’re IP68 water-proof; so they’re suitable for use in boats. As a result, they’re also up to the task for any vehicles exposed to the elements. Beware of similar looking items that don’t meet these specs.
